About the Artist

I’m George Daisy, a self-taught artist based in Arundel, West Sussex. My work draws from abstract landscapes, textures, and layered techniques using acrylics, spray paint, and resin — but I never want to be confined to a single genre. For me, art is about exploration, and I’m always pushing myself to discover new forms, styles, and ways of expression.

Art began as an outlet during the stillness of the pandemic lockdowns, when creativity became both refuge and release. What started as an experiment soon grew into a journey of discovery — one where each piece carries its own life, shaped by emotion, intuition, and the senses. Sometimes I start with a clear vision, other times I let the canvas lead, following the textures and feelings as they unfold.

I see art as a way of connecting — both with myself and with others. My work is deeply tied to mental health, and I create with the hope that those who view my paintings can share in the emotions I pour into them. The feedback from those who’ve commissioned pieces reminds me that what begins as my feeling can often become our shared experience.

This is an ongoing journey of growth, and I want to bring the audience with me as I evolve, experiment, and refine my craft. Every piece is a step forward, and I hope you’ll join me in experiencing where the path leads next.
